A sturgeon my old roomate Chase caught in Oregon last month. 4 1/2 feet long and not even the largest one caught that night! Wow!

They're kind of difficult to see, but these are some sandhill cranes preparing to head south-I'll see them again in a couple of weeks a few thousand miles away.
Going into my house on Stalker Creek Road in late September. The Aspens were beautiful, but now everything's covered with snow. Expected low tomorrow--9--yes, I said 9.
Paddy and I at the City of Rocks in September. Yes, I look like a bag lady, but I was climbing.
A Paddy brown in spawning garb. Sorry it's been so long with the pics, but Paddy broke my camera-probably the day he took this pics-he he.

Yet another buffalo stopping traffic.
Paddy being very sad at a paint pot. He had to see a lot of them as a kid.
Paddy on the Gibbon.
My only fish on the trip. Brookie on the Gibbon River. Absolutely gorgeous and happy to have had it as my only fish. Caught on Purple Haze.
At Yellowstone Falls.
The best picture of the trip and the key piece in our Posteriors of Yellowstone exhibit. Ranger Rick climbing the fence.
A bull in the yard at the hotel. I didn't get a digi of the two young ones fighting. They bugled all night and are doing the same at my house right now.
Me being a tourist. The springs really do stink.
Mammoth Hot Springs. We stayed ot the left of here.
A sign found at geysers. This IS what will happen to you if you step off the trail. There are no digis of Old Faithful-batteries died.
Paddy's foot next to a bear print that is much larger.
With the bear truck on my way to Sage Creek...a three mile hike through Grizzly country.
Our ghetto lodging at Yellowstone Lake. We stayed in only half of that.
Taking pictures at the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.
Me at Cascade Lake.
Paddy fishing in Cascade Lake. It was REALLY cold and we didn't catch any fish. Really pretty, though.
Me driving with lots of buffalo in Yellowstone.

Notice the gear on Paddy's sling. This is why I think I like climbing. Lots of things to die.
Me! On Rain Dance (5.7) at City of Rocks on Friday. Shredding-he he!
The bear at Smiley Creek Lodge. By Stanley-hot metal on my butt.
